Spotted a westbound tankcar train @ Romulus, MI on the Wabash @ 1536. One CP SD40, two DME SD40's.

Sounded clogged or otherwise distressed when I heard it at Depot Town, NS 6782 (SD60M), NS 6917 (SD60E) and 20 cars.
Edit: Just realized that was 39E ypsi got on video so that was 6917, 6782 and 26 cars. 6782 was the unit with the ailing horn I was referring to when 38E went west.

Sounded clogged or otherwise distressed when I heard it at Depot Town, NS 6782 (SD60M), NS 6917 (SD60E) and 20 cars.

Sounds like a Hybrid K5LA, simply one with only one American tuned trumpet, either being a #4 or a #3.

Power swapped again in the last few days for Battle Creek NS Hinman Yard, with NS 7120 (GP60) and NS 5082 (gP38-2 HH) now doing the honors.

There was an empty CP tankcar train sitting at the Windsor, Ont end of the DRT @ 1107. Power is: CP 5972, 6036, DME/ICE 6223, 6236. Train will be going westbound on the Wabash this afternoon.

OS Monroe Blvd in Taylor, MI. @ 1305, CP w/b tankcar train. All the units are CPR.

NS 64N into Elkhart this afternoon with KCS 4105, a BNSF GEVO, and a KCS GEVO. Power was cut off and taken to the house. Look for it to be on 33G or 31K tomorrow.

I saw this posted on the "Other Site" by Beech Cricker: "caught NS 5420, still in full Conrail blue, working the west end of Oakwood Yard, Melvindale, on my way home from work today."

Now I'd like to catch that! If anyone knows where it will go from here—please post!!!! I believe there are just 4 Conrail painted locos left on the mainline—only on NS!!!!

Best bet would be to haul over there and see it if you really want to. Not sure where it will go bit it could end up anywhere if it gets assigned to a train. And there are 6 conrail blue left, just happened to check nsdash9.com railwr today

I won't be able to make it there! Are those 6 remaining still operating! That's better than I thought at least! Conrail is fading away though!
