CSX Train Location Updates 4/16/13

Q335 went into emergency at Seymour in GR at about 0641. Over the radio they said the engines were just blocking Kalamazoo Ave.
As of 0653 they had found the issue about 15 cars back. Apparently they had the same issue earlier this morning.
Okay to start west again at 0655.

Edit: Q335 in emergency again between Plaster Creek and Pleasant St at 0720.

MQT should be at turner st awaiting crew change 3002/4433. 2006 was spotted in the hole at sparta as well.

8:46am - sounds like Y121 is heading onto the Hamilton branch in Holland for a bit this morning, not sure how far they have to work, but did hear them wanting to open up on the west end of the Holland siding and will let dispatcher know when they line it back to the main behind them. Didn't mention Hamilton branch like they used to, but maybe this is how they'll now refer to it.

D70016 still dinking around Wyoming yard setting off a bad order. Sounds like Q335 went into emergency again around the sunnyside lead in GR in addition to Seymour.

As amtrak1007 said, Z151 is at Turner. Power is cut off and is sitting behind Vans elephant style. Unless the crew wyes the power downtown, the 4433 will be leading NB. By the position of everything, I'd guess that the crew will have to work Vans before coming South.

I figured that was the train I was hearing heading west through Hudsonville with a ridiculous sounding horn. I think the engineer is laying on it extra long just because it sounds so bad. It sounds like a pack of rabid Canadian geese.

lead was 2 six axles and looks like y121 will have new power to use - six axles followed
by 2 four axles and 1 lumber for grandville and behind the lumber was 29 cars for waverly.
327 only set off 40 some cars for north yard last night, thinking the reason was they had
156 cars by east waverly, went down main to holland and setoff in the old holland pass.

326 was by east waverly at 407am

Somebody is doing something at the west end of Sunfield and they claim to be westbound. Sounds like a MOW type. Not one of the usual inspector/maintainers I'm used to hearing out this way.

In other news D707 may still be in Lake O based on the radio traffic. They probably only gave back part of their EC1's earlier and I missed that detail.

And whatever was calling Sunfield westbound earlier just called Woodbury westbound at 11:29.
