If you have not tried any of Michigan's apple crop yet, do so! Especially the stuff from "the ridge" northwest of Grand Rapids. We've got softball-size Honey Crisp that are amazingly juicy. Bumper crop this year.

I've had a couple. Not softball-sized, but they tasted really good and were nice and juicy.
You can't beat fresh, tree-ripened apples. Store bought ones are often picked not fully ripe and dyed red. I believe they finish ripening after picking, but just don't taste as good.

105.7 (Used to be Easy 105.7, then Star105.7, not sure what they call themselves this week) is now playing Christmas Music (or Holiday Music)
I think it is three weeks too early, as I prefer not to listen to Christmas music until after I have woken up from my Turkey Coma Imageon the day after Thanksgiving.

The ones my family bought were from one of the local farmer's stand. Straight out of the crate. Counting what we already ate and what we have in the garage to eat throughout the winter, we have about 4 bushels. And we've already eaten half that. Family of 6.

Those of us in Lake Effect Land are going to have a White Thanksgiving. It has been several years since this has happened. I think last year it was around 60 degrees on Thanksgiving, and in the 50's in 2011.

I had to make another random comment, since cbehr91 says I am random, and I don't want to make a liar out of him.

Not ture. I live in Lake Effect Land, but it is currently 73 degrees here on the beach in Cancun, watching the waves roll in from the balcony, drinking some lemonade! Safe to say tomorrow will not be a White Thanksgiving for all of us who LIVE in Lake Effect Land.

I don't see the word "LIVE" in my post, so therefore what you said is not "ture."

Happy Thanksgiving!

And now it's story time!
