Is there an easy way to get a picture of it or is it buried in Railroad property? Any idea when it will be leaving?

When did it cease to opperate? I took the lunch train back in 98 while on vacation. It had a nice view of the East Bay. The lunch train went East toward Acme whereas the dinner train went south toward Walton Junction. :)

I walked over to the yard and was photographing the whole train when the engines arrived to pick it up. As said earlier, they took them to the train and then bought them back. As of an hour ago they were still in the yard. :)

How are they going to leave Southbound on CSX to Toledo? Or is CN picking them up and then Southbound or are they going to Chicago?

Wow, and after Lansing it would have had empty coal cars behind them.
what a site that would have been.

Oh crap. I might've just missed them going through Mishawaka yesterday...wished I would've known that coal train was more than a coal train, I might not have tried to take a short cut around the traffic mess it caused...
