My prediction is that I won't be watching the NFl. I'll bet I'm right.

Re: nfl predictions for this season
I never really watched it before I moved to Indy. With all the hype surrounding the team in a NFL city, it is hard not to watch. Throw in the team going to a Super Bowl, winning, and a return visit the next year, and it gets even tougher. Then Indy hosted it, and THAT was a party!SD80MAC wrote:My prediction is that I won't be watching the NFl. I'll bet I'm right.
So, if I'm off, and the game happens to be on with nothing else going on, I might watch the Colts. Other than that, I'm with you, don't really get that into it.

+1. I don't see what the draw to football is. Hockey is much more entertaining.SD80MAC wrote:My prediction is that I won't be watching the NFl. I'll bet I'm right.

I was about to +1 you, but now you get a -2 for mentioning hockey.legostudios34 wrote:+1. I don't see what the draw to football is. Hockey is much more entertaining.SD80MAC wrote:My prediction is that I won't be watching the NFl. I'll bet I'm right.

Re: nfl predictions for this season
I'm a huge football (and baseball) fan, but haven't had much time to think that deeply. My fantasy team just drafted last week and I wasn't ready for that either! I know the Lions won't be in the Super Bowl. Not even winning the division. As long as Aaron Rodgers is QB for Green Bay, and the Bears have half their players still playing at the end of the year, the Lions will continue to lose the games they SHOULD win and pull a "W" out of their rear ends when they play the #1 teams. I'm not trying to be a pessimist, but I've been Lions fan too long. Kinda the same way with the Tigers. When they win the division, then I'll believe they can do it. Til then, I'll support them but won't get my hopes dashed for yet ANOTHER year...
'bout the only time I got into college football was when our hometown boy Brendan Kay played for Cincinnati. Now he's fighting to make the practice squad for the Steelers. Still, after winning the State Championship AND STARTING in college, he's as far as anyone's ever gotten from our high school! Even if his career ends with playing half of a half in one preseason game, he's still a champ!
I'm ready for football. The bar across the street from the museum has the games on tv, PLUS they give out free jello shots whenever a train goes by on the main! Too bad I'll be running a train on Sundays. Gotta adhere to that Rule G!

Browns win the Super Bowl, Lions win 14 games, and Brett Farve will return.

One of the analytics sites pegged the Lions at 7-9 but I like 8-8, the back end of their schedule is incredibly bad for their chances.AARR wrote:Lions will find a way to snatch losing from winning. 8-8.
