BN Strobe Ditchlights
Can some one give a list on which of the BN Units were given the experimental Strobe Ditchlights?
I can only say BN 5054, 5722, 7149 and 7865.

The Executive F and E unit, some SD60Ms, some SD40-2s, and some of the LMX B39-8Es had them as well. I've never seen a definitive list but there must've been quite a few as they pop up in videos from the 90's all the time.

I want to say at least a few of the GP50s were equipped with such. I can tell you with certainty that 3157 had them in 1993 per a video by Pentrex.

What's the difference between a strobe ditchlight and a standard ditchlight?

That'd probably cut his posting rate by a good 75%MQT3001 wrote:You bet! But really, at least give the ole Google a try
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.
