I don't see Lukas' post, but unless there's another bridge exactly like that one somewhere else, it sure looks like redside20 and MQT1223 are right.

Did someone give the right answer for ~Z~'s bridge photo?
Yes his was the CK&S somewhere in Kzoo

Oops I think I erased my own post when I tried to edit the part where I put US 223 over the I&O and took my own post out instead...eek. But yes that overpass is very familiar.

Looks like you are in the Detroit area. Maybe Livernois yard.

The official told me that it was Forrest Lawn tower, but knew better than that. The Locomotive looks like a Detroit terminal engine. If the picture was less grainy . I am guessing some where around the Detroit area or some place that the DT went.

I agree with the need for a clue.. wyrickj, can you give us some more details? which quadrant of MI, and maybe which railroad this is on? Can't tell if this is just an unused spur, or a connector to some other main line.
It's in the GR area and the old main line goes in a southeast direction for I'd say 15 miles

This "old main line" goes 15 miles in a southeast direction in the GR area? You need to recheck your mileage a bit.

It's 42.902294, -85.650804. Looks like it's west of Eastern Ave SE, southeast of Union Street SE and north of 36th Street SE. Spur into what Google says is Great Lakes Gypsum & Supply (L&W Supply) at 3470 Roger B Chaffee Memorial Blvd SE. The red buses in the photo are at what Google shows as Hope Network Foundation.

I have a slide shot of power on the other side of that bridge while crew took lunch at the adjacent shopping center. Last time I was through parchment it's hard to tell there were ever tracks along there. Even by 2003-2004 wasn't any need to go across the river on the former ck&s

I found this while looking for some other location. I've read about this place on the board but had never seen it before.
I'm posting it at 12 noon, we'll see how long it lasts.

MI/IN border Don.

That would be the C&O depot in New Buffalo. Still is used for MOW. If you get a chance to check out the coal tower and museum down there they are actually pretty darn cool.
This is my life. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

If this is a problem get used to it.

You are correct. It only took 9 minutes for the first "almost right" answer.
I'd like to see it in person someday. Where is the museum located?

The end of the box car is barely sticking out past the building.

Is this on MQT?

Yep ex NYC GR to Jackson and that spur served the Roger B Chaffee industrial businesses way back in the day. Don't feel bad Zach PM1223 could not figure it out either lol
