I would guess this is Eckles Road (looking north) on the CSX between Schoolcraft and Plymouth Roads, in Livonia/Plymouth.Michael wrote:

Good one!
Re: Where am I?
At last there was one from my neck of the woods, although I haven't been by that location (Eckles Road) for several months.

Have what I think is a good one. One view facing west, one facing east at the same location:

Well I don't know where it is. The track looks narrow guaged. But it is hard to tell for sure in the picture. If it were a narrow guaged line that sure would limit the possibilities.

Re: Where am I?
Not narrow gauged. As best as I can tell from aerial photos and ground shots, this is still an active customer on this spur unless they stopped shipping in the past couple years. So there's a hint, it is a spur.

Re: Where am I?
Nice work, correct. I've driven down the old routing of US131 many times, but never drove east off the path to check out GDLK's trackage in Constantine, so was surprised to find this spur when I was looking for a good where is it.Michael wrote:Good one Z. Yea I thought narrow gauge at first too. But the only two operating I can think of don't run E-W. The Huck runs SW to NE, and the Toonerville is mostly straight N with no road crossings.Jetlink wrote:Well I don't know where it is. The track looks narrow guaged.
