Where Is It?
Re: Where am I?
This rare brick deck bridge is still in use although the tracks underneath are long gone.

Thomson Road Bridge near Niles. Pretty cool bridge. Hard to find because you can't get anywhere near it with street view.

That was where the New York Centrals yard was before they overhauled the yard at Elkhart.MQT1223 wrote:What Railroad was underneath it and how long ago?Pixl wrote:Thomson Road Bridge near Niles. Pretty cool bridge. Hard to find because you can't get anywhere near it with street view.

This should be easy. If you don't already know where it is Pixl, it is available on Google Street View

Re: Where am I?
It wasn't too easy. Whatever you did to the picture had me 2nd guessing a fixture I normally would have known quite easily. Well done

No, I didn't know it, would have had to dig for it like everybody else. If it is within 50 miles or so of Traverse City I know it and probably wouldn't answer because of that, at least not right away.Michael wrote:This should be easy. It doesn't show well in the landsat photo and I flew over this spot twice. I finally noticed the tank track that barely shows on the left side ofyour photo. Then I knew to look again at S. Boardman or Mancelona where I've seen those tanks, and there it was in Mancelona next to the GLC.

Here's one. Who thinks they can get it?
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

Freeland. Google shows it as E Washington Road, although it looks like the road may also be named Freeland Road in the general vicinity. The track equipment is also visible in the overhead view.AMTK55 wrote:Here's one. Who thinks they can get it?

780 Oak St in Wyandotte. I hadn't been there before, but heard some members of the site gather near here so went browsing ages ago for this spot. Saw that depot and figured that was it.Michael wrote:
