Forgot to mention that I actually saw CP X50011 on Wednesday..first train in some sunlight in weeks for me... Took them quite some time to get from Holland to Zeeland.turns out they did a crew change near Taco Fiesta on Waverly.
Today had another rare sight..paced another SVX from M-6 all the way to Zeeland..saw that car sometime last year..only SVX I've seen this year..well, besides mine

here is what was up with q33513.

we got call on time for the train at 0030. first time in 3 trips.when we started to airiest the train we could smell something odd. we had the enginehouse come out to check it. the engine was cooking the batteries, and letting out a gas. they badorder it. and after 3 hour on duty we were send back to the hotel, and after 16 hour more in the hotel we were called to recrew our own train. this time it was airtested with the new power. we got permission to leave and pulled down to the signal. the yardmaster called and told us to hold up. we later fond out that a yard crew ran a signal and we would haft to stand by. we were call for 19:45 by the time we left the yard we where 5 1/2 hours old and they call the crew behind us to recrew us at 2:15 but we can't deadhead at night so we road the train home

so 3 crews to get the train to grand rapids and left 120+ for GR in Toledo

During lunch, was hoping to see CEFX 123 in action on a loaded coal train heading east into Holland to head north, no such luck..maybe it's still at West Olive?
Coal train was pulled up the hill at Saugatuck, pushers were cut off there. D80214 went by through Holland, headed north at Waverly. D80114 came by 10 minutes later and went east towards Grand Rapids.

Haven't spotted CEFX 123 today - was hoping it would be on D802 - thought that maybe helpers were going to come on up north, maybe be on the back of the train. No such luck. Maybe if I get time I can head up by the power plant and see if it's there...

Caught 33514 in Plymouth at Main St. at 14:20. CSX 5355 & 5424, 120 cars. Then saw 32714 in Plymouth just east of the diamond at Holbrook St. at 14:45. CSX 8527 & 7591, 61 cars.

Ahh, that sucks. I thought they'd cut off at Waverly and you'd get a pic of them on the end with the sun shining (lots of blue sky here now). Then again, I've watched them cut off at Saugatuck before when the power went to GR, so I should have figured they'd do the same today.

No such luck having the pushers attached...quite often they cut off at Saugatuck..only times I usually see them still connected was when N956 would run. Cloudy and dark for my shots too....poop.

Can someone please check if MMRR out of Muskegon is using a symbol other than Z627 to come into Holland as of late? I saw Z62713 used last night, but that was the first time in at least a week that they are recording when they get into Holland.

D802 south by Riley 5:50 PM - at Holland depot 6:06 PM. BNSF 9803 and 9616.
Found CEFX 123 up on the fuel pad by the power plant around 5:00 PM - still there. It's the last unit here:

Hmm...Zack said an empty was heading south when he was leaving Holland, but didn't have the 123 power on it. I wonder if those three are still sitting up there ready to come down in a day or two.

Rob, were you still on it coming into GR? Heard the conductor on the scanner...didn't sound too happy. Sounds like east tower took a while to respond, too. Dispatcher in the bathroom?

It maybe a little off topic, but this isnt the first time that the CEFX 123 has made it to Michigan this year. I shot it at Saginaw Yard back on March 13th.
