This one is in someone's yard along an abandoned ROW. I wanted to see if anyone knew it before I posted any hints.

Do the tracks end here or keep going beyond where the camera is pointed?

Re: Where am I?
Too freaking easy since I've been down there for the past four days. This is Watson St. on the now abandoned lead into Padnos scrap in GR. All of this track is being prepped for removal by Watco and The Grand Elk Railroad because this is all 132lb rail installed in the 80's that has little to no wear on it. This crossing, it amazes me that it exists. It literally crosses a cul-de-sac. To the left is only a few yards of street and to the right is Seward. The Fulton St. crossing was just torn out a block away from this and I documented most of it's demise. The rails for this crossing and Butterworth ahead of it have been prepped for removal. This view will be drastically different soon.Pixl wrote:I thought he was chiming in with my thoughts, impossible to find, even with the compass.~Z~ wrote:Pixl wrote:

Not easy if you don't live in the GR area dude. Kiss my grits. Nice of you to weigh in on something in your back yard.MQT1223 wrote:

You should have let the OP give a hint or reveal the location.

I would not mind at all if this was my backyard

Agreed, looks like the owner must use it as a cabin or other get away. There is no house, not even a drive.Michael wrote:I would not mind at all if this was my backyard
Being right on the river I would have power connected and have some awesome parties.
It does seem to be correctly aligned on the original road bed. Nice touch.

That is unusual that there is no house on the property. Maybe the owner is across the street? It does have power too!
Re: Where am I?
After looking at the aerial view of Padnos, how did this redundant trackage last this long? It doesn't seem to serve any purpose that the other lead into Padnos couldn't handle.
