I think AARR got it . Hall st. Good eye.
The line connected at Rives Junction.
Looks like the 2 railroads crossed or had a junction just west of Hyatt street near West Plain street.

I used a very old railroad map. We'll see if it's Eaton Rapids when Michael checks in.

Manistee & N. E. used to cross here 91 years ago till the timber ran out in1924. The tracks have been long gone, but the grade is still used today.

That is a good guess, and there is a spot near Walton that looks like this, but not correct. You do have the correct branch of the M&NE.

This diamond might still be in place.. they rest of the tracks seen here are still in at least. Taken from a screenshot of a video from to '90s.
