I don't know how but I always get lucky finding your Pixl. It is Bolton, the second place I checked after Cathro.
I figured Alpena when you mentioned NE and looking at the compass I noticed the line ran NW/SE.
Of course these maps help a lot.

Good guess. They do look very similar. I posted that one before too.
Here is a big hint. The road above is actually an Interstate Highway.

I don't think it's the Kent Trail. The tunnel portal's are different and M-6 is not an Interstate Highway as stated. I thought it was too but the portals are different. The Kent Trail is just smooth concrete this has a fake brick texture.
1223 OUT! President and Founder of the Buck Creek Central, the Rolling River Route! (2012-2017) President and Founder of the Lamberton Valley Railroad, The Tin Plate Road! Proudly railfanning with Asperger's since 1996. :)

Well... you'd think I might be able to figure this out because the signal in the photo has a Mini-Bell and there are only a handful of places that have those. I'm gonna throw a wild guess and say Alma?

Not Alma. Good eye though. I did not even notice the mini-bell atop the signal.
