Potash Corporation is building a storage and repair yard in Lima, Ohio. This yard will be located off of the CSX main near South Erie Jct interlocking. Sometimes my work gives me opportunities to do things I never thought I would be able to do. One such example is this yard. My office helped with the land, design and coordination between all of the parties involved. Needless to say, I've learned quite a lot...
Photo 1: Looking south from Buckeye Road, the CSX lead to the new yard will be on the left. South Erie Siding is to the right (and currently is holding a K425 empty coil train). In the distance are the signals for the end of the siding and the Lima Ordinance Depot track.

Nice shots CG. Is this yard served by CSX exclusively? Ken

I know this is off topic. Are you the same CG tower that used to run the "CG tower" website? That had some really good info on it (especially of the Great Miami & Scioto) . It's been down for quite some time.

Yes it is...
Like all good things, they come to an end. Family obligations and life being the primary drivers.
As far as Great Miami information, I assume you mean the info on the Portsmouth Subdivision?
If you have any questions on that line, feel free to ask.
