Re: Where am I?
Is it LaGrange, KY? If not, it appears there are quite a few other places with street running in Kentucky.

Re: Where am I?
Not LaGrange, KY. This train did go through LaGrange, KY probably about 10 minutes before this photo was taken though, maybe even sooner than that.

Aw shucks, you got it!Pixl wrote:Buckner, Ky.
It would be funny if that aerial shot had me in it. It wouldn't be the first time Google caught me railfanning.

Re: Where am I?
Thanks Jeff. Next time I will look at street view for you as an early clue.
Jeff, why not throw up another one of your recent out of state trip. Please just let us know what state.

Re: Where am I?
Since I took up digital photography in 2010, I have been to MN, IA, WI, IL, IN, OH, MI, and KY. Any photos I post will be from those states. IA and MN will require me to do some searching, as the computer that any photos I took there no longer works, and I have the old SD cards stored somewhere.
I always save my photo cards, especially after reading many people complaining about losing their photos forever after their hard drives crash on their computers.
Plus, I am using a Dell laptop now, on its second hard drive. Most photos I post will be after 4/12/15.
Now let's go back to Kentucky! Where is this?

What's your guess, Pixl? According to your last post, you guessed " "
The place I was had a name. This time, the train is headed northbound toward Cincinatti.

Re: Where am I?
Looks like you are about 30 mi. South of Cincinnati on US-25 near Dry Ridge, Ky.
The fat telephone cables and power poles were my clues to find it.

I thought I was near Sherman, KY. Probably more specifically Dry Ridge. You seem to have found where I went!.

Wow, quite correct. I thought someone might recognize the Terminal Tower and figure it is Cleveland, but how did you find the crossing.GTW6401 wrote:Pixl wrote:Not in Michigan.

Re: Where am I?
So it's the northern diamond? The Kokomo Lumber (or KOKO O L MBER) building should be to your right, and is partially visible on the right side of the 3046.
