Re: Where am I?
Correct! This is the operations/main office of the Interurban that served Albion. Not sure but the building behind may be the car shop for the line. You must know the area, nice job.Cliff wrote:

Wow. All of the spots on the bridge that are tagged and the GT logo has somehow escaped being spray painted.

Correct Pat. At some time in the past the tracks continued north across Mt Hope Hwy into the GM warehouse.

There's a few random bridges in that area with GT logos, but many without. For a long time, the bridge over I-96 had a red GT logo for eastbound traffic, but I suspect that's gone now. There's also one or two bridges in the neighborhood that still have "MICHIGAN CENTRAL RR" text clearly visible....probably original!
I'm pretty sure this is on the old LS&MS just south of Hillsdale, today on the INER mainline. I always thought this bridge was interesting - wooden piers, an iron pier and a concrete pier. I've always wanted to get a photo of someone on top of this bridge but there are so many scenic spots on the INER I just haven't made it here.....yet.
Great mystery shots...thanks for sharing!

Well done! I was hoping to find some photo of that bridge in use but I could not find any posted.
