MSO served a small Terra fertilizer dealer here until the mid 1990's. It received 25-30 cars a year.

I do recognize it. Batavia, West of Coldwater. I think the official abandonment a few years back covered this area but for whatever reason they left the tracks here.

Close enough. Maybe a mile or two south of the junction off Rouget Road in Palmyra

It's not the leelenau peninsula but it is in the UP. Eastern half. Used to be SOO i think.

You threw me off by calling the UP " Northern Michigan" which is usually regarded by Michiganders as North of a line across Clare or Bay City in the LP.

I don't think my guess is correct. After studying the picture some more; I don't believe there are any houses at the location I named.
