Unless they have recently cleared the trail, there isn't one stretch on the former GTW between Ionia and Owosso that doesn't have trees and brush on both sides of the road bed. Must be somewhere else.AARR wrote:St. Johns?
I'm gonna guess it's on the former GTW between Ionia and Owosso since the pavement on that trail is fresh.

N. Airport Rd., about 2 miles East of the Saginaw area. Former NYC/PC Saginaw to Denmark Jct.Michael wrote:What rail trail is this?
"Low elevation" tipped me off. This is one of the areas that could be subject to flooding from a "seiche".

A bit further West the road bed turns into the "Harger Line Bike Trail" that we were chasing down yesterday.

The bridge goes there, but not that rr (CN). Conrail currently services the BOC plant.AARR wrote:Is that the CN bridge that goes to GM Hamtramck Assembly?~Z~ wrote:Looked from north of Pontiac down to Milwaukee Jnct, then from flat rock quite a bit north...not seeing it. Maybe it's ...
