L321-22 clear South Novi 6:07 PM
Engine is #7797
Conductor calling all of the signals for once!
Notes - maybe 30 MPH, lots of Sultan gondolas, and bright shiny red double stacked rolling stock, don't know what it's called. Pretty long.

MOST of it cleared 7 Mile Rd., then it stopped for about 5 minutes. Resumed, and cleared with 131 cars just now.

This set of engines went east to West Olive on a coal train on May 15th, last Sunday. Now going back west.

Photographed 6 different westbounds on csx between defiance and albion on my way home... some I got two times even. Rarely waited more than 10 mins at any spot... hopped up to NS after, got two westbounds in 30 mins, and enroute home now :)

How busy has Deshler been? Thinking about stopping there someday.

Yeah last night it had four Amfleet coaches and a Horizon coach. Nice seeing a shiny cabbage instead of that rustbucket.

I was at Deshler 2 hours Friday night from about 10 - midnight and it was non stop busy.

I was at Deshler from about 6-midnight last night. Other than a pause while they welded on some rail it was non stop busy as well. Often 2,once in a while 3, trains in town at the same time.

If you go to Deshler you will see trains. More trains than you will in Michigan. I didn't see anything really unusual or interesting but the numbers were good.

Thanks! I'll definitely keep Deshler on my list of places to go. I would recommend Vickers as well. I was there from noon-530pm and saw 23 trains. Surprisingly, the CSX Toledo Terminal was equally busy as the NS Chi Main.
