Follow up to Buzzi, I was thinking that some of what was going to Elmira is now going to Grandville on CSX and trucked to Northern Michigan.

385 and 397 left Cadillac towards Clare at 0925 with 11 tie loads and 1 tank.

397 and 385 returned at 1615 with 2 tanks, 2 pole loads, 2 coke hoppers, 4 or 5 tie loads, 1 pole load, 2 covered hoppers and 8 or 9 tanks. Had some trucks on Mitchell St so didn't get an accurate count.

Don't believe they ran last Friday.

Heard them heading north out of Cadillac at 0910. Back around 1320 or so. Heard them again about 1530. Guessing they did some switching in Selma Yard this afternoon.

I chased/rode behind the 1225 "Hamburg" Fun-Fest train on Saturday (6-18) with great friend "Mazon!" I went to Durand Sunday! After leaving Iron Horse Pub, checking out at 12:25 p.m., I saw a GLC train heading south! It had 5 engines, 89 grain cars! The GLC engines were: GP35 #390, GP38-2 #399, GP35 #392 and GP38-2s #396, #395! This was a good sight on a Sunday! They probably didn't run during the "Hamburg Stuff!!!!"

397 and 385 returned at 1425 with 1 pole load.

Don't think they ran this past Friday, unless they went north. I didn't hear or see a thing all day.

Saw fresh flange way cuts on the Yuma branch so went out to Yuma where 385 and 396 shoved about 35 sand hoppers of many different reporting marks. I'm guessing storage as there were semis loaded with equipment from the mine lined up at the entrance. FMTX, GATX were some of the marks.

GLC crew was removing the crossing gates at M115 crossing neat 13th Street on west side of Cadillac.

Must have been to Traverse City recently as rails looking polished.

1pm edit: GLC 396 arrives from South with a SAMX hopper, ADMX hopper, and a loaded center beam.

Today's centerbeam is spotted behind the engine house in Cadillac. Expect them headed North tomorrow. Also two covered hoppers that came in are spotted next to Wyoming Feed with a third.

Only heard them. 385 and 397 are still up here. When's 393 going to make an appearance up this way?

The three covered hoppers are for feed. This is the first time I've seen those type of cars used in coke service. The two tank cars are either NGL (or a product of) or LPG.
