Coming into Holly this afternoon, we saw some grain cars slowly crossing Grange Hall Road heading north. Sooooo, deciding original plans could wait ten minutes or so, we went ahead of the train and got it at Newark :

Locomotives are not cheap, carting a multi million dollar asset around just in case is not very cost effective.

Not sure...could they be short on power in Flint?

I can see it. Thanks for posting, atrain . These newer engines have fantastic pulling power and two can pull a loaded grain (or coal for that matter) train just time.
PatC created a monster, 'cause nobody wants to see Don Simon no more they want AARR I'm chopped liver, well if you want AARR this is what I'll give ya, bad humor mixed with irrelevant info that'll make you roll your eyes quicker than a ~Z~ banhammer...
