Was looking for a little more details but you got it. Delray is the busiest junction in Michigan. No trip to Detroit is complete without visiting Delray.MQT1223 wrote:I'm surprised I even was close. Re: Where Is It?
It's on the Beltline Industrial (the track to Lagrassi IIRC), I think. He's asking if we can find the industry it went too or road it's near.

Farr Street in Detroit. Same spot/crossing you used for a "Where is it" back in August.[/quot
Found it finally. Farr Street, west of Foster Street, in Detroit, Detroit City Schools district, Wayne County. That's siding off the connection with the CRSA Beltline Extension, behind the picture taker.

Re: Where Is It?
Correct. Farr St on Conrail's Beltline looking in another direction during a different season.
The track is long unused and doesn't connect to the Beltline anymore but still crosses the street.

1950's. If you know your depots you should recognize the first picture. The second is a different view not as recognizable but interesting...once you know where it was.
Re: Where Is It?
Kalamazoo. There are two towers in the distance in the first pic, the farther one being BO.

Kalamazoo, looking east along the old NYC (former MC). N. Burdick Street in the background along with two towers with the BO Tower the farthest one.PatAzo wrote:1950's.
