Horns on the north end of Cadillac at 1800. Guessing Elmira/Petoskey run today.

On the south end of the line here in Ann Arbor, I've had my scanner on at certain times of the day and I have not heard them. If they went south from Owosso today, they were there when I didn't have my scanner scanning.

The box car came in the same day they picked up the 4 empty centerbeams from Amerhart. Last Thursday I think.

Questions for the experts;
Where might one expect GLC to stop along the way (if there are any stops) on the TC turn, and the Elmira/Petosky turn? I'm considering shooting both in the near future and would love as much information as possible before making the treks. I've already documented everything from Osmer to Cadillac, including the Middleton Branch, so these two lines seem logical. What speeds do they travel? Do they have small to modest trains or just one or two pieces of rolling stock?
Oh, and what is the story behind that GIANT "150" made of trees in Kalkaska???
THANK YOU for any help and info!

They usually use both engines and almost always stop at the gas plant south of Kalaska (very difficult to see from the road) and also the cement terminal north of Elmira. Trips to Traverse City always include a run to Bates (west of Williamsburg). Note the gas plant gets switched going south.

Maybe to Beacon scrap in TC. If so maybe they will pick up the box car at Amerhart on the same run. I can't check on it because I'm visiting family in Ohio. Somebody else take a peek.TC Man wrote: Oh where, oh where would this train be headed?

Ah, wonder if they dropped the empty, went to Williamsburg, and then went back to Beacon to get the now loaded car, or did they drop an empty and pick up a load?
