Despite the bad roads and nasty weather yesterday, anybody get the engine number of X500-19 coming east. By Howell prior to 11pm but for a change, I slept through it, awaking only after he went by. Horn sounded like a newer 8700 or 8800 series unit. Also slept through Q334-22 with CSX 766 leading per the scanner at 415am. Yesterdays Q335-21 had single unit 766 westbound but was wondering if he had a second unit on Q334 this morning.

Caught a southbound CSX out of Flint this afternoon with CSX 7549, 7804, and 8092 around 14:30. It sounded like J214 on the radio, but that symbol seemed a bit odd to me. The train was a unit train of around 50 covered hoppers.
The E945 was at McGrew at that time as well with BNSF 5996 and 9548, but the power will need to be wyed after being brought down by SBS backward. They arrived into Essexville about 03:30 with LSRC 1166 and 1169 running ahead of them to pull some of the loads into the plant.

Q326-22 today!
I caught Q326-22 today leaving Wyoming Yard where they got permission to go east at 1PM. I saw them at Godfrey at 1:15PM:
CSXT 7513
CSXT 7620
CSXT 6133
CSXT 2738
6 cars.
Could be one of the last ones going east from GR
CR painted CSX 7309 and GP35 slug 2297 with mother 6426 were at the engine house.

As GTW6401 reported, the BNSF units on E94522 were 9548 in the lead with 5996 following. When it reached Plymouth diamond, it continued south instead of turning west. At this point I had to drop the chase as I was heading to a party, but I listened to the scanner for a few more minutes. It went into a siding south of Plymouth to await the passage of 2 trains, one of which was 132 (is that a Q or a Y?). I did not hear the dispatcher mention the other one.
