Through Chesterfield at 20:30. CN 2295, IC 2466, & CN 5629 for the power. I thought it might’ve been an X385 but I’m not sure.Man o' War wrote:M383 by Mount Clemens depot at 20:50. CN/IC/CN, 120 cars.

I went to the MTM meeting at Mt. Clemens and also saw this train! I'm glad the tunnel reopened today (7-10)!!!! Now, around 7:52 p.m., I saw CN painted GTW GP38-2 #4929 heading 533 north light!!!!

Per reliable sources from Facebook, it was an X385. M385 was on duty in PH as of 21:15.MtClemensRailFan wrote:Through Chesterfield at 20:30. CN 2295, IC 2466, & CN 5629 for the power. Heard the crew identify themselves as M383 - only reason I posted that. Maybe they made a mistake - I've heard it happen before...MtClemensRailFan wrote:Per reliable sources from Facebook, it was an X385. Re: CN Updates- July 2019
At 9:30 am Train 515 was SB past MP 22.5 with 5456 again today.
Amtrak 353 had two P42's again today.
What I presume is Train 116 with CN 2329 and cowl 2442 is rolling SB past MP 22.5 now at 10:16 following Amtrak down the Hill with a few loaded gondolas ahead of its containers and autoracks and mixed freight on the rear end.

Re: CN Updates- July 2019
A very long NB just went past MP 22.5 powered by two 5700's and a 2100. It was probably close to 150 cars long, all but 19 of them being tanks and covered hoppers. It looked more like a Mt Clemens Sub train than a Holly Sub one. Not one autorack. So I am guessing it was a lingering reroute and not 371.
What looks like 371 is NB passing MP 22.5 at 4 pm with two CN's and a BNSF. A covered hopper on the front end (probably to drop off in Pontiac), a big cut of autoracks, some mixed in the middle (more than usual) and then another slug of autoracks at the rear.
Train 515 is passing MP 22.5 at 4:15 pm returning to Pontiac with a long train including a lot of 50' boxcars of CN markings.

From FB, this was indeed a reroute, an M367. Turned west at Durand at 15:39.Manistique wrote:A very long NB just went past MP 22.5 powered by two 5700's and a 2100.
