OK folks, I don't know if this was a "Secret" or just that no one knew! Well, let's get some good "Railfanning!!!!!" Yup, now GTW (GLLX) GP9 #4428 will be used on the 1225 "Polar Express™" runs starting tomorrow, November 16th!!!! I found out November 6 on Facebook®! Wow, when did it leave Conrad Yelvington Stone® of Flint, MI? I am excited to see this "Classic" High Hood GP9 again!!!! SRI is leasing it instead of using a GLC diesel! WOW this is great!!!! High Hood GP9s are my favorite!!!!!!

OK, last weekend they used "10th Anniversary" GLC GP35 #393 on the rear, per photos on Facebook®! Why haven't they yet used GLLX (GTW) GP9 #4428? I mean you guys are "Leasing" the unit for use on this train! Is it going to work? I still plan on going up there to photograph the "Polar Express™" train─possibly on your last run of December 21st!!!!
Seeing the GP9 would make this train so special! The only thing I myself would change on it would be to "Cover Over" the "GLLX" markings! May I suggest covering them with "Christmas Decorations!!!!!"

They are waiting on a part for the brake system on 4428.

OK, does anyone know if they are using GLLX (GTW) GP9 #4428 this weekend on the 1225 "Polar Express™?" Last weekend they still had a GLC diesel! I hope that "Brake Part" gets in and working so I can see this "Classic" GP9 on the last day of operation next Sat. December 21!!!!

Yup, had a great time photographing the 1225 "Polar Express™" yesterday, 12-21!!!! They did not use GLLX (GTW) GP9 #4428, but it sounds like they'll be having it for a while!!!!! However, I finally photographed GLC "10th Anniversary" GP35 #393 used on this train!!!! It looked awesome!!!!Robertrains wrote:SD80MAC wrote:They are waiting on a part for the brake system on 4428.
