Q326-03 @ 2:11pm reported by the DD at mp CG19.1 with CSX engines #233 + #505 & 90 cars. No stops at Holland or Waverly today.
Re: CSX Train Location Updates: July, 2020
Q327 had to go in for Q326 at Gross, and wait awhile, because the line is currently single track between Livingston and Gross, as there are dead coal trains at Riverside and Kirk.
Q327 should be around Michigan City by now.
Q326 is probably entering Wyoming yard by now, as it has been over a half hour since they cleared Zeeland.

If I heard my scanner correctly, it sounds like P370-03 just cleared Michigan City.
Amtrak's website says they'll be ontime in St. Joseph, MI, at 9:13 pm.

D801-02 @ 10:08pm westward was reported by the DD at mp CG66.2 with CSX engines #3266 + #3209 + BNSF engines #9190 + #8492 & 129 empty coal cars. He stopped at the w/e of Kirk siding mp CG72.3 to cut the CSX engines & place them as pushers onto N801-01 (BNSF #8418 leader) that was tied down inside of Kirk on July 2nd. Assuming there is another crew to take the BNSF engines #9190 + #8492 & 129 empty coal cars westward as an "E" train.
July 4th Update: the empty coal train is still tied down on the main at Kirk as of 10:53am, trains have been diverged thru Kirk siding to get around him.

Q327-04 @ 9:44:25am at Bangor's Center St crossing mp CG60.35 with CSX engines #505 + #233 + #5298 & 88 cars. He had picked up the #5298 at Holland.
It appears last night's D801-01 had tied down the empty coal train he was hauling with BNSF engines #9190 + #8492 & 130 empty coal cars on the main track at Kirk. Then, he had grabbed the tied down loaded coal train that was inside of Kirk & proceeded eastward with them. This morning, Amtrak P371-04 & Q327-04 were routed thru Kirk siding mp CG70.2 to get around the empty coal train that's still sitting on the main track at Kirk.
@10:12am heard Dispatcher telling Q326 he'll be meeting Q327 at Livingston mp CG97.4 & he also advised Q326 about the empty coal train that is tied down on the main at Kirk mp CG70.2

Re: CSX Train Location Updates: July, 2020
Just the empty train. They tied the empty train down on the main, tacked the CSX engines onto the bottom of the loaded train in the siding, got the train together, cabbed to the head end, then took the loaded train east.LansingRailFan wrote:How many trains are sitting idle on the tracks?
