There seems to be more Intermodal trains lately than just 148 and 149, based on these posts.
Are these reroutes or extra 148s/149s?
Thanks.

We are seeing daytime 116s a lot and possibly 115s.
Also 514 continues to get more and more containers.
It is getting to be that time for the holiday rush...which seems to be coming earlier the last few years. When I've talked with ups about shipping volumes they have been seeing a more prolonged surge the last few years instead of the traditional sharp spike. The last two years it started in late August and September and went until a couple days before giftmas. Of course we don't have ups traffic on our trains that I know of but our containers are up stream from them. There was that x148 just recently that was all empty, maybe being put into rotation. I'll have to make a point to listen to the radio a little more and see if i can find an answer for us if not one else has one.

CSX pulled a whole train of empty wells the other day. Maybe it’s the season.
116 sitting at Chrysler meeting a Sand Train turning the corner at Milwaukee Jct.

Westbound stack train with IC 2701 (CN paint) & CN 2439 ('Cowl') going through at 21:06. Inspection boxcar in the middle.
Now, it is great to see "Active CN Cowls!"Now, BCOL C40-8M "Cowl" #4617 is seen parked by the "Administration Building" at "Bristol Yard (Torrey)!" Are they using this engine for local duties? This is cool! Heritage Units BCOL 4617 link: https://heritageunits.com/locomotive/detail/BCOL4617
There is also "Blue" IC 2457 there at the same place! Are these headed to "Scrap?" Why are they parked in Flint? Train 394 has three candidates for "Scrap" in Canada!
The ones on the way now for "Scrapping" are: CN C40-8W #2189,"Blue" IC C40-8W #2455 and CN "Zebra Cowl" C40-8M #2428!!!!
