D706-14 @ 4:35pm eastward reported from Snow Road with CSX engine #751 leading & most likely is paired with the CSX #3203. Does anyone know what the mile post is for Snow Road? it's not shown in the time table & I always hear the trains making reference to this road.
I’m not sure what milepost it is. I’m glad it is on its way! I will go look for a green signal

Micah, keep in mind D706 & D705 usually, if not always, sets off cars at Ensel/N. Lansing between mileposts CH90.0 & CH88.3 that can take between 2 to 3 hours depending on how many he has for there. The west end of South Lyon is at mp CH37.7

Ah ok. That makes sense. I was think snow road was after ensel so he would have already done that. Thanks for letting me know
D706-14 @ 4:56pm reported from the west end of Elmdale mp CH131.7 & from the talk heard on the scanner (reset applied 751) at 5:21pm sounds like they're doing some work at Elmdale.
By the way, ~Z~ had informed me Snow Road is around mp CH135 or CH134.

Yes. This train always works Ensel. If they have to recrew it at some point because the work takes too long they will.

Elmdale is between CH 130.4 and 131.7. There's a page on the Railroadfan Wiki for the Plymouth Sub, which shows the mileposts of Elmdale and several other sidings/waypoints. This should help ease some of the confusion of where these places are.

Elmdale is about 20 miles east of the middle of Grand Rapids & D706 will most likely will be working in Ensel/E. Lansing too. The link below is for the 2005 CSX Chigao Division Time Table (it's free). The pages below shows the tracks all the way to the Detroit sub-division: page 52 is the Grand Rapids Terminal. pages 60 & 61 is the Lansing sub-division page 80 is the Plymouth sub-division
Last I heard a few hours ago, D706 was doubling its train half way between GRP and Lansing. Must be it stalled somewhere. D706 should go by South Lyon about six hours after the light has gone back red after being green for three hours. In other words, about 05:30 tomorrow morning. D708 the last two days has had 4316 leading eastbound and 5222 westbound. Perhaps they have three units. They turned at Fowlerville yesterday. V644 has been sitting facing east at Trowbridge because Webberville needed some more important cars in ahead of the grain empty, sat off by D708 yesterday,

I don't know the exact milepost but is the next set of signals just west of Alto. So two blocks before WE Elmdale. Guessing around ch138 or so.
