D706-16 @ 11:09am heard in Grand Rapids getting yarding instructions from Rouge Tower.
Q326-16 @ 11:09:42am eastward Bangor mp CG60.72 with CSX engine #3198 & 69 cars & rear CSX #884. He had a Burlington Northern Covered Hopper in his consist.
Q327-16 @ 11:24am westward reported clear of the St Joseph Bridge with CSX engines #395 + #222 & 105 cars.
Q327-16 @ 11:35am westward reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with 432 axles & 5,722 feet long.
Q327-16 @ 11:39am eastward reported by the DD mp CG44.2 with 288 axles & 3,917 feet long. No stops for him today.

GLC with 383+395+390 currently over on CSX at Howell for 90 minutes or so picking up 62 cars that D708 sat off yesterday and depositing 83 more for CSX. Lucy road crossing will have to be split. Six railfans watching the moves, which I did not count myself as one of them. Last time GLC sat off cars on a Friday, they sat there until the following Tuesday before they were picked up. Will see what happens this time.
Edit: Just heard that D706 has once again stalled between Fox and Elmdale, so kiss that train goodbye again until around midnight for east of Lansing people.

At 5:16pm RN Dispatch advised D706-16 a re-crew will be on duty in about 1 1/2 hours & asked how they're doing. D706 is cutting off more cars due to the hill to see if they can get the train moving again. Also, there isn't any additional power available. Amtrak P370-16 @ 9:26pm eastward reported by the DD mp CG91.9 with 20 axles & 391 ft long. IDTX engine #4615 & 4 cars.

D706-16's crew @ 9:43pm advised a cab will pick them up & drive them to Detroit. Change in plans, they're going by cab to Grand Rapids instead.

D706-16 @ 9:51pm now re-crewed as being the D906-16. D906 crew mentioned picking up 30 cars & I'm assuming that will be from Elmdale mp CH130.4 since he hadn't gone by the DD at mp CH126.3

D802-16 @ 10:09pm westward reported by the DD mp CG19.1 with 12 axles & 129 feet long. CSX engine #3198 + 1 lite. This was the leading engine on today's Q326 & assuming he also has the 2nd engine from Q326 the CSX #884.

It was assumed he had cleared into Saugatuck to let Amtrak pass by & then would go to Grand Jct siding to become the next pair of pusher engines. No idea why he gone into Saugatuck as lite engines & then returned eastward (picked up a car or cars that were inside Saugatuck siding?).

Hi donnie, yes I just heard him on the DD mp CG19.1 with 12 axles at 11:51pm. This has me baffled, why did he go into Saugatuck siding lite & returned eastward lite? That would be “3 Step Applied 751”, as in 3 step protection for the conductor.
