Re: Where Is It?
Bingo!! Finally got it!! The crossing spur with E Eames Street aka Channahon Road aka US-6 just west of Terminal Court in Joliet Township, Will County, IL. That spur was off the connection with the former Rock Island Lines RR main line. That first photo above is looking southwest along US-6.

Re: Where Is It?
There ya go, you found it Rodney. The 2nd photo is about 2 miles further west down the line on another spur that crosses the Illinois and Michigan canal that I biked. Rode between Morris and Joliet over the 2 evenings.

Re: Where Is It?
That another spur that crosses the Illinois and Michigan Canal was part of the old J trackage (EJ&E RR) and now serve six rail customers all south of the US-6 crossing just west of Youngs Road in Channahon, Will County, IL. The current Illinois and Michigan Bike Trail was part of the old Illinois Terminal RR ROW.

Re: Where Is It?
Yes, indeed, it's Basswood Drive crossing the Marquette Rail with Twinwood Lake in the background in Everett Township, Newaygo County. Final run of the remaining old C&O Railway passenger trains 25/26 between Grand Rapids and Traverse City, with stops at Newaygo and White Cloud, was made on October 29, 1966.

Re: Where Is It?
Yes, that's the place, Big Rock Chop House formerly Norman's Eaton Street Station, on south side of Maple Road and east side of the tracks in Birmingham, MI. It was formerly the GTW RR depot built in 1931 used by old GTW RR commuter and passenger trains.
