That shot above is looking east with the Chrysler Jefferson North Assembly plant on the left not visible. The trackage in the foreground was the former DT RR. The building on the right is the AT&T office building building I think.

Re: Where Is It?
King road just west of W. Jefferson. Line been dead for as long as I can remember.
Funny thing is about a decade ago they removed the signals but refuse to remove the rails from the road. It's brutal to drive over.

Re: Where Is It?
Located it on the googles map, King Road, west of W. Jefferson Avenue, looking north in Trenton, the spur was off the connection with the ex DT&I main line south of CP Rodney(old Trenton Tower).

Based on the shadows, isn't this looking west?railrod1949 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 24, 2021 5:42 amThat's Muskegon looking east along the old Pennsylvania RR ROW towards Grand Rapids. With US-31 passing under the bridge. Final run of the remaining old Pennsylvania RR passenger train consisted of a doodlebug between Grand Rapids and Muskegon with crossing on the bridge over US-31 in Muskegon, Muskegon County, was made on July 30, 1950.GreatLakesRailfan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 23, 2021 9:46 pmIs that Muskegon, with US 31 passing under the bridge?

This is an extremely infamous location, though not because of the railroad. Not in Michigan
I was just there a few days ago.

Looking southwest along Elm Street in Dallas, TX About to go underneath the UP and BNSF railroads. That spot was where President John F Kennedy was assassinated on Nevember 22, 1963.

I wanted to leave some clues in the photo but I knew Dave was going to be the one to recognize it.

In the 734.
Re: Where Is It?
W. Jefferson ave. in Riverview. Spur leading into Materials Processing inc. they really haven't used rail much in the almost 30 years I've lived in the area, I've literally only seen something crossing there one time in my lifetime. They had a second crossing slightly north of there that was removed not too long ago. Signals still in place but the lights have been covered and the cross bucks removed despite the rails being ripped from the road.

In addition the spur line to the Materials Processing was off the connection with the ex DT&I main line, it crosses West Jefferson Avenue about a mile north of Sibley Road in Riverview.Chip wrote: ↑Thu May 06, 2021 7:44 pmW.
