Great Trip Report CRD! A few questions:
- Does LSRC work the Port Huron line any other days than Sunday?
- The CSX train into Port Huron had five short covered hoppers. Were those buffers or revenue cars?

Re: Port Huron 8.29.21
Word is Lake State will be working Port Huron for the next 3 Sundays in September. Then after that is to be determined. With Domtar closed and the only 2 active customers being CDW and Dunn Paper, perhaps once a week running is all that is currently needed.
CSX set off some tanks in the CSX yard in Port Huron before going down the PH&D that were behind the covered hoppers. Its likely those covered hoppers could have been buffers, but 2wouldnt only one Covered Hopper be needed as a buffer? The long ethanol trains always only have 1 car as a buffer. Anywhere on the PH&D that would utilize covered hoppers? Cargill Maybe?
