Low Oil Pressure on 339. Dianostics from Jax could reset it but it kept tripping. Once it gets to Detroit, it is entered into the computer to "Send to the nearest repair facility" I have seen that before but once the next crew gets on the trailing unit to move the next train, it's all forgotten until the next train stalls with it again.
So, both D706's on 11/27 had issues with their leading engine. D706-26 around midnight with CSX engines #487 + #7018 & 79 cars, where, the CSX #487 had given a "Hot Engine" alarm as they were on Thornapple Hill, engineer had isolated the engine & continued on still being able to operate the train from the #487.
Wondering if they'll end up pairing the #7018 with D706-27's "good" engine #406 to power the next D705?
D905-28 @ 21:05 has permission to proceed westward from McCords Rd crossing mp CH137.27 with D705-27's train that had tied down there this afternoon, once all hand brakes have been released. Y106-29 @ 09:16 Grand Rapids job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engines #6544 + #6538 & 8 cars (3 loads + 5 empties). He'll need a couple of signals at Godfrey & a Fox turn around. I hear Godfrey (or is it Godfrie?) mentioned often but I don't see it on the time table.

Godfrey. It's the first crossing to the east of Wyoming Yard in Grand Rapids. Signals there let them either head north through the wye, or continue east towards Seymour. It's on the Grand Rapids Terminal subdivision timetable.

Thank you ~Z~, I just now did a little reading in the Grand Rapids Terminal Special Instructions and found Godfrey Rd crossing as being mp CG 0.99 All this time, I kept looking at the track charts wondering where this place was & why it's mentioned many times

The CSX maintainers and electricians continue to troubleshoot the St. Joe Bridge. For almost a week now, it has been plagued with a breaker that trips mid-opening. There’s no way to reset it except to take a boat out to the bridge.
Yesterday, the Coast Guard was not available, so they were forced to take the CSX company rowboat out to the bridge. After getting it closed, they decided not to open the bridge overnight except in case of maritime emergency. The electrician didn’t feel he could make another to the bridge in the rowboat, given the worsening weather.
