E800-21 @ 10:16:50 westward Bangor’s Center St crossing cam mp CG60.35 with BNSF engine #8416 & 130 empty coal cars & rear dpu BNSF #6264. He'll wait on the main track at the west end of Gross mp CG63.1 as Q326 diverges thru Gross siding.
Re: CSX Train Location Updates - December 2021
In case anybody between Brighton and South Lyon wondered what took D706 so long to get from Fowlerville to MP49 yesterday, they took a one hour delay at Ann Pere, but on the main, as GLC had the diamond blocked.

May have just missed one of the EB grain trains in Fowlerville by a mere couple minutes
Casual railfan who frequents the CN Flint + CSX Plymouth subs
Re: CSX Train Location Updates - December 2021
Signals aren’t lined for anything EB or WB in South Lyon as of 12:52, unless I missed it.bluewonderrails wrote: ↑Thu Dec 23, 2021 12:08 pmMay have just missed one of the EB grain trains in Fowlerville by a mere couple minutes

Re: CSX Train Location Updates - December 2021
D706-23 @ 12:51 heard talking to Rouge Tower getting his train ready. There was mention of a bad order car to D706 & engineer had said they'd talk once he gets his engines to that track. He should be running with CSX engines #5453 + #5498 today & waiting to hear his job briefing.
Re: CSX Train Location Updates - December 2021
Sounds like D708 is trying to pick up the LTEX 310, and having some sort of problem. Broken radio transmissions from my distance.

Re: CSX Train Location Updates - December 2021
First, that was D708 that bluewonderails though he heard at Fowlerville, not one of the two grain Trains. Running around their 12 train at Ogihara and backing it into town to set the cars off in the transfer, only then did they discover LTEX 310 was on the east end of their pick up in the Howell pass when they were told it was on the west end. They were planning on leaving the unit there by itself until the you know what hit the fan. While all they would have to do is pull their pick up out of the siding and back it down the main and then go back to get the LTEX 310, its taking three Philadelphia lawyers, aka management in conference to figure out what they should do, and so they sit.
They have now decided to leave it there as the proper restrictions to move this unit has not been met anyway. Perhaps D705 or D706, if there is one today will pick it up later.
