Re: Where Is It?
Millbury Ohio, or some other pretty generic spot on NS's Chicago line in Ohio.

Re: Where Is It?
It's at least fairly obvious that it was the NS Chicago line... could have been anywhere on the hundreds of miles of it that basically looks like this though. For the where is it photos, it's good to have something in the photo that's more unique. Your pic looked like what you would see if you stood at any of many many crossings throughout OH and IN. Some straight tracks with a few trees didn't do much, but those power poles on the side and the distant signals helped just a tiny bit.
Next up - where be it?

Not in Greenville. DaveO claims he knows the location, and expect others to readily know it, so I guess no hint for now.

Not Montague or Greenville. It's within a 40 mile circle of Stockbridge. I love M-52! (photo is not on M-52, lolz)

Re: Where Is It?
Guess I was wrong about others remembering this location so let me give a story as a hint.
The track arrangement in this general area was a puzzle to me.
It's one of those what was had become what is situations.
Why it was like that wasn't readily apparent. It was an area to which I made repeated visits over the years.
While it wasn't a secret like many other things, if you didn't have the right resources, it was a secret to you.
As the internet became what it is, it made the resources available that allowed me to solve my secret.
I have to believe that AARR has been to this location at least once.

Re: Where Is It?
Maple Street in Vernon. I thought that spot was posted before but it was the bridge just to the south.

Ding ding ding, Michael got it right. Righto, we posted the bridge that's actually to the west, but don't believe we posted the bridge to the south.
