18:18 - D705 sounded like they were calling an approach medium for the west end of something, probably Trowbridge given my current radio range which is much less than Micah's today. Speaking of, I ordered a 'new' radio, a Maxtrac 300 from eBay.

I think I am correct to assume these engines came in on a Q train and are now being used as local power.
That said, what ever became of the trial run of UP coal that went to West Olive? Was it just a negotiation tactic to put some fear into BNSF? Or might we see some UP trains in the future?

Hi Todd, the UP #5893 + UP #5420 became the replacement "pusher engines" on Jan 30th. N802-07 ran yesterday & was the 1st coal train in months from Provisio & they usually have 115 or 116 coal cars.
