Scaletrains.com’s first steam locomotive in development
Found this on TikTok under scaletrains’ official page, I’m going to put real money down that it’s going to be the Big Boy, given the fact they have very close ties with UP when they did the gas turbines and their GEVO’s. No matter what it is, it’s going to be really awesome, yet really expensive, knowing Scaletrains . What do you guys think it will be?

The only reason ScaleTrains is able to do this is because they bought the tooling from MTH when they dissolved. The Big Boy has already flooded the market in terms of models whether it be brass or plastic. If i had to put money on it, I would guess it's an NYC Hudson. Probably one of, if not THE most famous steam locomotive design in the world and i don't believe a higher end model of one has been made since BLI did their Paragon 2 run of them. Luckily, I already have one in brass.

Scaletrain's first steam locomotive was under development long before they purchased the MTH tooling. They've been hinting at it since 2019.GTW Dude wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 11:32 pmThe only reason ScaleTrains is able to do this is because they bought the tooling from MTH when they dissolved.
