Question about the M-115 Yuma Branch crossing. How often does it get used, if at all? I noticed the other day that sometime between 2019 and 2020 streetview, GLC replaced one of the bells on the crossing. I'd always been under the impression that that line was no longer used or maintained.

This waste of time and money seems to happen often. Take the Grawn branch, they rebuilt the county road crossing in Grawn, ties, asphalt etc. just to close the branch a few months later. With repairs on the Yuma branch probably means a closing is coming.KingsleyRailFan wrote: ↑Wed Mar 09, 2022 4:16 pmQuestion about the M-115 Yuma Branch crossing. Re: Great Lakes Central Updates March 2022
I'd always thought it was closed well before the upgrade on Yuma. There's only 2 signalled crossings on that line and while I haven't been out to verify it I'm willing to bet that one's been upgraded too. There's still some cars in storage in Boon and Yuma.James Sofonia wrote: ↑Thu Mar 10, 2022 9:27 amThis waste of time and money seems to happen often.
