L303-04 on the move past Pleasant St. #717 chugging away mid train. Hope they get up the hill okay east of Fox!

The tonnage rating for each engine isn't mentioned during the crew's job briefing. Yesterday's CSX engine #69 tonnage rating was mentioned only because they were trying to determine how many cars he would be able to handle & to know how many cars had to be set off since the CSX #69 would be the only working engine of the two engines.Andy24 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 04, 2022 1:36 pmWhat is the tonnage strength for each individual engine? L303-04 @ 16:23 eastward reported by the DD mp CH104.3 Mulliken, Mi with 492 axles & 6,549 feet long. CSX engine #3138 + mid dpu CSX engine #717 (58 deep) & 120 cars. He has 8 cars to set off in track L05 in Lansing, no mention was made for any cars to be picked up.
He'll have to stop at Grand ledge mp CH99.1 to line the switch at the west end back to its Normal position that had been left in Reverse during last night's L302-03 & L303-03 meet there.
Will be interesting to see what engines L302-04 will have today since yesterday's L303 had CSX #69 leading & his trailing engine CSX #4008 had died.

326 must have really hustled out of the siding in Hudsonville after 327 passed him and then hauled arse to clear Grandville just 6 minutes after 327 cleared the 19 detector.

L303-04 @ 19:24 released his EC1 for Lake Odessa/Ensel & is departing Lansing to head eastward to Detroit.

22:15 - L302-04 west through South Lyon. CSXT 588 + CSXT 7011 + CSXT 8465 + 139 cars.
Green Oak DD at CH39.1 said 574 axles, 7895 feet.
Approx 21:15 - L303-04 east through South Lyon.

10:20pm - L302-04 clear EE South Lyon. CSX 588 + ? + ? Leading. He had 2 gevos and another 6 axle Stand Duty trailing. Couldn't make out locomotive numbers in the dark. 574 Axles, 7895 feet long.

If anyone can find out the last unit on L302, please inform me. It appeared to be a 6XXX unit with 6 axles, which isn't a thing in CSX

Was able to confirm... it was CSXT 588 + CSXT 7011 + CSXT 8465.

M326 was annulled in Chicago due to no available power. Either M327 or L303 in GR today (6/5) will be annulled as a result.
