Plymouth Report 6-16-08
Insted of posting this on the GRE MQT Location Update, I'll post it here from now on.
Today, Plymouth had some activities going on. There was also issues with the crossing gates on the east end of the diamond. Here's what he have first:
Caught southbound D716 south of down with Ex-Conrail unit CSX 4411 (GP40-2) with it's paint scheme in very good condition!
Then on the east end of the diamond, we have soutbound Q216 with CSX 7761 (C40-8W) and CSX 9004 (C44-9W).
Then I caught Y205 coming back from East Yard and going to North Yard and they picked-up 7 coil cars and went down to Wayne as D745.
Last train I saw was westbound Q327 with CSX 7546 (C40-8 ) and 17 cars.
Hopefully this won't be it for the day because I am on the look-out for those 4 CP trains!

UPDATE: I went back to the tracks this evening and saw these 3 trains:
Eastbound D717 heading back into North Yard with CSX 476 (AC4400CW).
Eastbound Q287 with CSX 7300 (C40-8W) leading (Had to battle with the sun to get a pic).
Also had HLCX 6302 (SD40-2) right in the middle!
Q287 was obviously very short; must of dropped-off most of it's train in New Boston.
Shortly after Q287, the CP X740 hauled through town with CP 8773 (ES44AC) and about 62 autoracks! I had to use flash to get a light enough pic. That concludes the entire day and it was great!

Chris, the flash had no effect on the scene other than the reflective striping on the engine. It would have looked exactly the same had you not used the flash.Chrisracer8903 wrote:(ES44AC) and about 62 autoracks! I had to use flash to get a light enough pic. Who cares? The pic looks good anyways.J T wrote: Chris, the flash had no effect on the scene other than the reflective striping on the engine. It would have looked exactly the same had you not used the flash.
