Yeah it is.
Also, I kind of wish we could see the usernames of the 4 people who actually voted. You know,, so maybe we could heckle them a little. Who knows, might be a nice touch.
(trying to move out of the petty category and into the passive aggressive realm. Let me know how I did.)

You don't have to vote it, it's just an optional opinion poll

You’re doing quite well however I still think you could take it a little farther. You got to get
I'll tell you that K5LA was the best. OH, and it's not required to answer if you don't know or care
Well, if that's what was on 3839 a decade ago, I can't disagree. Nothing like being up in the Ada hills and hearing that horn echoing down in the valley. Loved it.
Edit: Actually, now that I think about it, a decade ago would have been MMRR24's horn I was hearing. But yeah, 3839 sounded great when I heard it as well.
They both were great! I wish there were more K5LAs horns like that on many engines today.
And yes that had to be MMRR #24 in Ada. GR 3839 was on the Michigan Shore from Muskegon to Grand Haven to Holland.
2057 is a piece of crap, keeps dropping it load above 300 amps. It's been over a year and the mechanics can't figure it out
Sounds like an electrician's problem
According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don't care what humans think is impossible.

I voted for the raised letter one out of spite

Hot take: Raised letters suck. They sound so unnatural.
Haha, got one

It's tied now with MMRR #2057 besides the "don't know/no preference" poll.
MMRR #2019's horn was voted Raised Letter in the lead.

Do I know what any of these horn/locomotive combinations sound like? No.
Have I ever railfanned the MSRR and MMRR and heard the horn on any of the units? No, and don't intend to.
Hitting you with the reverse card now, awnser the three questions that I've asked, and maybe we'll see if you're secretly one of them
But did I ask?

There used to be a video of MMRR 2057 in MQT in 2018 running on the bridge with a short horn blow on YouTube. I do not remember the YouTube user who uploaded it but it's not on there anymore...

I think all horns are unique. The only video I gotten of MMR #2057 was 11 months ago and above posted on the first post of this thread. It’s been 3 years since I filmed Marquette Rail
Average railfan reporter on Grand Rapids Sub, Plymouth Sub, and Area Short Lines Railroads.
