CSX Train Location Updates - May 2023

CSX L303 per friend cleared CH87.26 at 16:24. Wasn't going to be much a movement on him as he's set to await three CN trains at Trowbridge. One of which blocking him along diamonds waiting out two others opposite direction of him.

As of 16:42, that second of three CN trains is about 8 miles off.

One of those days CSX L303 waits out three on CN.

Without more details that could be any number of things. It is an active rail yard after all, so trains are always being classed.

Last night, a W424, cwr train, dropped rail on the detroit subdivision between MP 25 and Stark

With pencil & paper in hand this time, L302-04 by Howell at 18:00 with 560+7250 on the head end and, give or take one or two, 86 cars and a heavy train at 11,000 tons. Thanks for the help guys on yesterday's L302-03. I will jinx it now, but L302 has had fresh power every day this month. L303-04 is in the siding at Williamston for L302. So, where DID the 4055 come from that was on L305 today?

Wed, May 3rd: L303-03 @ 15:09 eastward reported by the DD mp CH104.3 Mulliken, Mi with 118 axles. CSX engines #4564 + #890 + #4055 (in tow) & 25 cars.

On Mon May 1st: M326-01 had brought the #4055 to Grand Rapids & it was 1 of 5 engines in M326-01's consist.

R597-04 @ 19:46 copied his EC1 to proceed from West Olive to the Grand Rapids sub-div in Holland Mi with BNSF engine #8430 & 130(?) empty coal cars & rear dpu BNSF engine #9194 & CSX engines #3209 + #3289 trailing behind the rear dpu. He’ll be going into Grand Junction siding mp CG54 & tie down.
