NS stone train was in Kalamazoo as of yesterday at 7:30pm unloading. NS 1112 and NS 1127 was the power for this train.

NS 3486 & 3277 sitting at Levitt with all tanks and covered hoppers waiting for the Amtraks.

12:34: 358 is currently setting off cars at River Rouge Yard.
I’ve noticed they’ve been stopping a lot through Wyandotte lately, particularly in the afternoon. Twice this week I saw Pennsylvania Rd blocked by a stopped train. Yesterday’s train was REALLY long, it blocked Pennsylvania, Sibley and almost got to King Rd.

14:50 - NS train 332 with NS 7569 solo is shoving back into Oakwood Yard with garbage on the head and coils on the rear.
15:00 - CP 8008 leading a WB train out of Oakwood Yard has pulled as far west as they can before shoving back .
15:07 - NS 6170 with five empty lumber cars, eight boxcars, one cylinder hopper, a flat car w some of them dirty dirt type boxes and 2 4-bag covered hoppers pulls in next from OJ into the yard.
15:00 - CP 8008 leading a WB train out of Oakwood Yard has pulled as far west as they can before shoving back .

16:28 - WB NS local w NS 6170 is pulling the blue garbage gondolas off of NS 332 and taking them to WATCO’s transload yard. Yay garbage.
16:48 - WB NS local with NS 6170 has departed Oakwood yard.

17:00 - WB NS train 55J with NS 9814/UP 7231 pulling up to OJ now. Empty grain train bound for MAC Blissfield via the ADBF

21:00. -11N just flew thru Monroe. NS 9610 and 1072 (Illinois Terminal). Took about 2 mins to clear Hurd Rd.
Also that NS 882 w the exec mac pair ran to Monroe as NS B51. It’s there now. Apparently it can be a quick turn so most likely will leave tomorrow

NS through Dexter.
Yesterday (Saturday May 13th) at mid-afternoon NS went westbound through Dexter. I did not see the head end, as they approched while I was pre-occupied. It was unusual and unexpected as NS has not been running day freights on the days I've been in Dexter since last summer/early fall. It had a combination of NS coil cars, some tank cars and DME covered hoppers, all commonly seen on the local between Jackson and Wayne.
Does NS normally run daytime freight on weekends, or was this a unique situation. Also, Amtrak 355 was about 2 hours behind schedule on the east end of the line yesterday.

Thought it was gonna go out on 121 this morning, never did. However, if all goes according to plan, it'll be on 31M with two other engines running LHF elephant style.
