Rouge Tower @ 23:50 stated to L302-16 crew to set off 45 cars to one track so that their mid-CSX #5205 DPU is back to back with its lead engine when they move the other 64 cars

Nathan, the 2 bays on MQT go to Manistee, I forget exactly what they carry, but the product is used to make roof shingles. It’s newer business from sometime in the last 2 years or so.

Right behind them, Z739 WAMX 3531 heading back to their home rails on a restricting at Godfrey with three boxcars, red, yellow, green, 09:50 at Century Avenue/Sligh Furniture crossing.

That’s incorrect about the hoppers, the shorty two bay hoppers go to Ludington and contain Petroleum Coke from Sarnia, it’s unloaded processed and sent right back out, what is done and what the end use is isn’t exactly known but it goes back out.

M327-17 between 04:53/05:23 Grand Rapids, Mi job briefing with the RN Dispatcher: CSX engine #7015 + mid dpu CSX engine #3339 (in position 129) & 172 cars (68 loads + 104 empties) @ 12,567 tons & 9,766 feet long. He’s doubling up his train at this time.

GREAT shot David Collins!!!!! Cool how LSRC power ends up on trains to Walbridge, OH! I have never caught that but have seen CSX engines on LSRC trains!!!! EMDs are always good! What LSRC unit is trailing? On my recent Memorial Day trip to Fostoria, Ohio with "Mazon" I did catch a CSX SD70M leading a train northbound! Yes it had a GE "Widecab" trailing, but I got good film pix from the bridge above! Forty four trains were seen by us, but no "Heritage Units!!!!" That is unless BNSF "Warbonnet" C44-9W #789 counts as one!!!! Now, speaking of Walbridge and CSX "Heritage Units," today (June 17th) has CSX "Fire/Law Enforce Police Heritage" ES44AH #911 at the north end of Walbridge Yard! Leading! OK, is this cool engine likely to lead a train north to MI? I've never seen this cool unit! If it comes north, would it likely come to Rougemere Yard, Dearborn? Or to LSRC trackage? This may be a good early "Heads Up!"
