For those listening to the Plymouth and Flint Sub SuperScanner, wondering your thoughts on discussion between L303 and presumably a ground crew.
L303, after mentioning a fallen tree, discussed crossing replacements among replacement of other infrastructure between Trowbridge and Williamston. Unsure what specifically, just something about CSX starting soon.
This occurred around 14:36. They also joked about Amtrak beginning to run this way, "wouldn't that be nice" they remarked. I am unable to search through the archives.

Replacement of signals between Trowbridge & Williamston to start soon & be completed by the end of this year from a state funded project. Also mentioned was "putting in a crossing on the west side". West side of where wasn't heard.

Why just between Trowbridge and Williamston?

Why just between Trowbridge and Williamston?

Not familiar with any details, but possibly due to the impact of traffic around Lansing when the signals are not functioning properly or have code line problems. Lots of interrupted traffic flow when having to run restricted speed from Trowbridge to Williamstown.

I was waiting for 327 near Grand Junction and there was a fast moving storm cell that went through about 15-20 min before the train arrived. Heavy rain but I didn’t notice much in the way of high winds. I thought they may have taken longer to reach me than expected. Alas, 15 min later the sun was shining again.

Did some rough math on load vs empty and figured the empty total must be wrong based on how much tonnage they stated.
