L513 good to go down the Lake Orion Branch at 5:56 with GT 4906 leading.

Working Bolyard at 6:09.

Picked up an empty centerbeam from Bolyard, no dropoff.

4 cars for drop off at Ferrous and is finishing it’s work there at 6:33. Unsure on pickups, will updates when he passes Baldwin.

513 heading to Pontiac with one load from Ferrous at one empty from Bolyard at 6:43.

508 south by Waterford at 7:25 with 8943 and 8005 up front with no stacks and a loooong manifest cut up front. Not sure if it’s working Pontiac.

OK, does the power for trains 507/508 alternate? :?: Will CN "GTW Heritage Unit" SD70M-2 #8952 go south tomorrow, Thursday 12-21? :?: It makes sense to rotate power because each shift would travel one direction, Flint to Flat Rock and vice versa! Right? Where do trains 507/508 pass usually? Well, I will be able to go to Flint next Friday, Dec. 29th! Would "GTW Heritage" #8952 likely still be on southbound 508?! What time does it usually depart Flint? I would be looking to capture that train with this engine! Please help!!!!   😁 😁 😉 😉 🤯 🤯 😳 😳 😱 😱 😲 😲 👁 👁 🤪 🤪 😜 😜 😃 😃 😆 😆 😊 😊 🤯 🤯 🎅 🎅 🎅 🎅

OK David Collins, must have been a typo with your first post listing 508 and next showing 507 last night! Now, I can tell 507 is the train between Flat Rock and Flint (508 opposite)! Today (1st day of Winter...Thursday 12-21) should then have GTW "HU" 8952 leading south! Now, I will go to Flint next Friday, 12-29, in the early afternoon! OK, I researched and found that this train originates/terminates at Flat Rock! Well, how does this work for the Flint departure time? :?: What time does it usually depart Flint? I am looking to capture this engine in daylight! Or would this be a day this power travel from Flat Rock to Flint northbound and trailing 2nd? I will have to figure out which day it would leave going southbound from Flint! OK, every two days it departs Flint leading! Right? This shall be easy to figure out which direction on which day! Would Friday 12-29 likely be a day with 8952 leading? :?: Does this train run daily? :?:

SB 515 with 5423 and only three cars today just passed MP 22.5 at 7:44 am. Things must be winding down for Christmas weekend now.

What I am guessing is 251 is passing MP 22.5 at 12:08 pm. A 8800 leading a 5600. A ton of jumbo hoppers up front. Then mixed including an old Canada cylindrical covered hopper that they made for their grain business 50 years ago or so, then the autoracks, not that many today, probably the auto companies winding down for the annual Christmas week off.

Here is the oddity of the day. At 12:50 pm a Charger and one Venture coach passed MP 22.2 at restricted speed northbound. They were on Main 1 but instead of having a red over green signal there, which Amtrak does there to cross over to the Pontiac depot track, they had a high green over red, which, to me means clear to Pontiac yard.

Do you know what this was for? Was this a test train or something?

8952 is no longer on 507/508. They went west on a different train but returned East to Flint. Possibly was on L500/501? Not sure if it’s gonna go back on the 507/508 cycle.
