Is it normal for 326/327 to have woodchip hoppers? If so, where do they come from?
No… they were definitely faded and beat up one still had its old Seaboard markings.

That could be I do know that they were much larger than a normal hopper that you would see hauling aggregate or coal. They could also be cars that were used in dual service.

CSX engine #3201 + mid dpu CSX engine #3293 (107 deep) & 193 cars (71 loads + 122 empties) @ 13,194 tons & 11,655 feet long. Thanks Pudgy for reporting the position of the DPU. These were the former coal “helpers/pushers” and 3201 was reported having water radiator issues yesterday and being sent to Chicago for repairs

Those are coke cars - see them regularly on L305 to GLC - take them to Cadillac
