Not that close to Milwaukee Jct. The area is now unrecognizable relative to this scene.AARR wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 7:09 pmThe former CR spur into AA&M?AARR wrote: ↑Sun Jun 09, 2024 10:53 amMilwaukee Jct? Re: Where Is It?
The old Holly Subdivision in Detroit. That is where the tracks turned north from Brush Street and City Yard.
Parts of the cigarette truck chase sequence were filmed in downtown Los Angeles.
Axel Foleys apartment in Detroit was also in Los Angeles at 685 Witmer Street.

Re: Where Is It?
It's on the Manistique Subdivision. No customers left in the town though. Even the 1600 foot siding appears to be removed. Saturnalia got a nice video complete with drone footage in the spot back in 2016.

Re: Where Is It?
There was even a third track along Main Street with a short siding for this:
They have since been moved a few miles west.

Re: Where Is It?
I'd have to say Rapid River, MI. No idea how I was able to find that though, with the city name in the bottom right of the photo Difficult one for us for sure prior to that help.

I was a bit of a dud so I just put it out of its misery by posting the answer
Re: Where Is It?
I had found it. But I make a point at times to let others have at it.
Re: Where Is It?
I figured you had the answer Dave but you were sticking to your creed to post less .
Here is an easier one taken during the town's annual fair.

Re: Where Is It?
This location sans the fair was posted before according to my memory.
However a forum search doesn't get the same result as my memory
