LansingRailfan! Do you (or anyone) know where this train is now (around 3 p.m. June 23rd)? Will this make it to Port Huron tonight? When is it expected? Gosh, this has to be one of the last new Via® Siemens® sets now!!!!

It definitely will not make it to Port Huron tonight. They tend to take a few days. Probably Tuesday evening or Wednesday in the morning depending on how long crew changes take. That’s just my guess from the past few VIA sets we’ve seen

Man! Hopefully this time myself or my friend Roger (with my lent 35mm Canon® camera) can capture a new Via® Siemens® set being delivered!!!!

21:35 - WB A491 with maybe 60 cars by the Charlotte cam

21:50 - WB M301 by the Charlotte cam

22:40 - WB E280-CN 3114 solo will be returning from Cory Yard as they are lined out from Cory back to Battle Creek. They'll hold at Potterville for an EB. L543 with CN 2319 solo is working in Battle Creek building their train to head back to Lansing.

Still waiting on M397, Q132 west and then Z148, Q122 east as well as the P276 sometime before breakfast.

08:35 - EB P276 with CN 5764 leading is holding at CP Mill for WB P365. EB M396 (missed power) is holding at Okemos for P365. WB E271 is out there somewhere too, maybe at Bancroft.

08:54 - WB P365 departs Trowbridge.

EB M302 has CN 3023 the EJ&E heritage unit leading it. It's in Battle Creek and the crew goes OD shortly.

There was trackwork on the single track main between Marcellus and Penn today that held up a lot of trains.

Following EB P364 out of Battle Creek tonight will be M302, M394, E280 and Z148 with Q122 later around 02:00

E251 is holding at Potterville X491 from Sarnia is behind it. M397 and M301 following X491.

It should be pretty busy tonight in Lansing.

EB M302 has CN 3023 the EJ&E heritage unit leading it. It's in Battle Creek and the crew goes OD shortly.

Thursday Morning report in Durand MI

1. A rather late CN Q122 heads through Durand with an M-2 leading at 6:30 am. Train had a ton of auto racks and surprisingly no work at Flint

2. CN Z149 with a CN SD75I and a CN M-2 through Durand just before 10 with its normal giant sized train in tow

3. CN L501 with 2322 departs East Durand with a short train for Flint shortly after

4. The LORAM Rail grinder is also in Durand running back and forth on the main 2 in Durand just after 11.

5. CN M396 runs around the rail grinder on Main 1 at 11:10 am with a GEVO leading two SD75Is

6. CN M399 just cleared Durand at 11:55 am with CN 2889 leading an ex Citirail unit

Still waiting on Q116, A492, M394, M302 and etc for later on this afternoon.
